(Digital ATDN) Google Classroom: The Basics and Beyond!
Are you looking to streamline assignments, boost collaboration and engage your students? Look no further than Google Classroom! In this session, we will review the basics of getting started in Google classroom, including setting up your classroom for both in-class and virtual learning, exploring available resources, and tips for using your virtual classroom in an in-person setting. You will leave this session with a virtual classroom that is ready for learning at any place and at any time!

Goal: To prepare educators to use Google Classroom with their students.

Audience: Directors, Program Facilitators, and Teachers

Objectives
  • Introduce the benefits of using Google Classroom for both in person and virtual learning
  • Set up the classroom by adding students, lessons and assessments
  • Identify resources and opportunities available for engaging learners and providing opportunities for collaboration both in the classroom and online
