This training provides an overview of the new Reading and Listening STEPS assessment series, including new reports and competency blueprints. Participants will explore the standards and sample reports, then work collaboratively to create a lesson to address a specific standard.

Audience: Directors, Program Facilitators, and ESL Teachers
Objectives
  • Participants will gain a greater understanding of the new Reading and Listening STEPS assessment series as they relate to the ELP and CCR Standards.
  • Participants will identify ways to adjust instruction to address student/class needs indicated by assessment results.
