Chemical Hygiene Officer Training by John Woodmansee of Safety Matters, LLC
Safety Matters LLC. will provide an online two-hour Chemical Hygiene training for school district staff working in Middle and high school science programs. The training is designed to meet the requirements outlined in OSHA standard 29CFR 1910.1450. Review relevant Safety Data Sheets to ensure proper adherence to the OSHA (29 CFR 1910.1200) requirements. The training programs will cover the following topics: •Introduction and Regulations.•Chemical Hygiene Plan.•Safety Data Sheets.•Hazard Identification and Control.•Laboratory Ventilation.•Chemical Storage, Time Sensitive Chemicals, Controlled Substances, and Explosives.•Labeling, Transportation.•Flammable Liquids, Compressed Gases, and Cryogenics.*Certificates of completion will be provided to attendees who successfully complete the training.
