ADOS-2 Module 2 Refresher - Winter 2022
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) is an assessment tool used to identify behavior patterns related to autism spectrum disorder . The ADOS-2 provides information for special education teams to make a classification determination if a child is eligible for special education services due to the disability of autism. The ADOS-2 requires training and practice in order to become proficient in the administration of the tasks, observation of the student, and interpretation of the results. In addition, users of the ADOS-2 are recommended to attend regular practice sessions to recalibrate their coding skills. This program will provide opportunities to practice observing and coding of each of the ADOS-2 modules. Participation in these sessions requires prior completion of the full comprehensive ADOS-2 training. After registration, participants of this program will receive confirmation information with instructions on how to access the training course materials online. Participants will be expected to access materials and live sessions via the learning management system information provided. In addition, participants will be expected to have access to an ADOS-2 manual, and protocols for module 2. These materials will not be provided to participants, and they are required for successful completion of the training. Participation in the live sessions requires the ability to participate online with a microphone and a camera in a confidential location. For more information, visit: https://tinyurl.com/ADOS2022.
