CES Coaches Network
A professional development network dedicated to those who coach other educators
This is a year-long program dedicated to building professional relationships with others who coach, targeted professional learning opportunities, and thriving as teacher leaders.

The network meets for 4 full-day seminars AND 4 half-day Lunch-and-Learn sessions.

At the seminar sessions delivered by Nicole Turner and hosted by Dr. Cheryl Kerison, aspiring, new, and experienced Instructional Coaches, specialists, mentors, and teacher leaders will:

  • Discover “How to” create a system and structure for day-to-day coaching
  • Uncover new ways to observe classrooms that translate into effective coaching sessions
  • Get clear on what exactly is the important "stuff" to coach through
  • Develop a purposeful planning system that will help you conquer the sense of sporadic coaching and be more intentional in everything you do
  • Let go of the sabotaging thought that you don’t have what it takes to be a coach
  • Create a toolbox full of coaching strategies to deal with even the most uncoachable teacher

    • Through the lunch-and-learn sessions hosted by Dr. Cheryl Kerison, aspiring, new, and experienced Instructional Coaches, specialists, mentors, and teacher leaders will:

  • Tackle "today" issues or questions by focusing on hot topics as they arise during the school year
  • Practice coaching interactions to improve communication and decision-making skills
  • Reflect on implementation of new learning from seminar sessions with Nicole Tuner
  • Build lasting networks and relationships with each other (and those you coach)
