Professional Development Evaluation Committee (PDEC) Guidance Training
Participants will engage in learning about:•Redefining the essential role and responsibility of the PDEC Committee in Connecticut’s new evaluation and support system.•Understanding the foundational standards for professional learning that ground the work of PDECs to develop and grow a professional learning community.•Defining high quality professional learning, identifying the components of a high-quality evaluation and support plan, along with structures and systems to monitor outcomes for learning, growth and development.•Understanding the shifts in the new CT Guidelines for Educator and Leader Evaluation and Support 2023.•Developing strategies, protocols, resources and planning tools to support successful implementation.
