UPLIFT: Foundations of Trauma-Informed Care

This training is designed to offer all school-based personnel abasic understanding of trauma and trauma-informed carepractices at all tiers, from universal practices to individualizedsupports. Participants will develop competency around definingand discussing trauma and common trauma symptoms, as wellas potential repercussions of trauma and toxic stress on braindevelopment, behavior and learning. Participants will develop adeeper understanding of a trauma-informed care framework,and how these intersect with existing school initiatives (e.g.,school climate, MTSS, SEL, DEI, restorative practices, etc.).
