Teachers will learn how to incorporate vocabulary strategies to support both virtual and face to face science instruction.
Objectives
Teachers will receive a refresher on the guidelines and procedures of Active Science Vocabulary as well as how to utilize this resource in a virtual environment.
Rationale for Providing this Professional Learning Experience
Teaching tier 2 and tier 3 vocabulary words in science with intentionality improves student understanding.
