(ON-DEMAND) CCRS - ELA 102: Instructional Shifts, Evidence & Building Knowledge
This video training is self-paced - please disregard the start date and times.
Continue to investigate College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) for Adult Education and review the Key Instructional Shifts. This training will focus on the importance of text-dependent questions, citing evidence in speaking and writing, and how this can help to build a student’s knowledge. Activities will encourage a deeper understanding of implementing the standards in instruction for all classes. Building on ELA 101, you will create a lesson plan integrating standards that are appropriate for your adult learners. ELA 101 and ELA 102 MUST be taken consecutively.

Please note that the Total Contact Hours are a reflection of the points required to complete the course and not a reflection of the time it will take for a participant to complete.
