New Teacher/Tutor Training

For those new to Adult education, this session reviews the basics of teaching adults and the specifics of Adult Education in CT. Topics will include an overview of the CASAS system for assessment and instruction as well as some basic information on lesson planning and using explicit instruction in the classroom. If you are not currently working with an AE program, there is a charge of $50/ ½ day session or $100/full day session; billed after completion of the workshop.”
