The COMPASS: Preschool

The focus of this module is on behavioral and instructional strategies for supporting students with disabilities in the preschool classroom. Emphasis will be on proactive skills and techniques to facilitate student success.

Objectives
Participants will: 1. Learn proactive and reactive behavioral strategies to support and engage preschool students with disabilities in the early childhood curriculum. 2. Learn how to engineer and adapt the learning environment using proximity and visual supports. 3. Learn how to use language as a behavioral and instructional tool.
