Learning Designs For District PDEC's, Data Teams and Other Learning Communities
Using the CT Standards for Professional Learning in Practice
As districts continue to build high quality professional learning systems, understanding how to incorporate effective and engaging learning designs is an integral part of this process. Through this half day workshop, participants will: •Identify the key ideas in the Learning Designs CT Standards for Professional Learning and determine ways to implement the standard into our current practices.•Analyze adult learning theory research and identify learning designs to enhance professional learning experiences. •Design a plan that identifies the steps needed to enhance our adult learning experiences.
Objectives
