Transforming Feedback for Professional Learning
A New Way to Think About How We Work With Adult Learners
There sure is a lot of talk about Feedback these days. And it can mean many things. Come and examine what one noted researcher has concluded it means to give an adult effective feedback that enhances their professional learning. Content is based on the research of Learning Forward’s Joellen Killion, author of The Feedback Process.
Objectives
Joellen Killion, author of The Feedback Process, argues that feedback is not what it used to be. Participants will explore this notion while looking at current research on adult learning and feedback typology. By the end of the session, participants will be better able to categorize the types of feedback they give, and will have a clearer vision of how they want to provide feedback in the future.
