Transgender? Bi-gender? Pan-gender? Non-binary? What?

The world (and school environments) are changing rapidly. Students as young as 5 are coming out along the transgender spectrum. What do all of these changes mean for you as an educator, administrator or school support staff? This interactive, day-long training will give you the chance to learn new terminology; understand and implement best practices regarding sports, facilities, bathrooms, etc., respond to parent and student questions/concerns; and ensure that your school climate creates a safe and effective learning environment for all.

Objectives
Participants will learn: 1) Laws and policies regarding gender identity and gender expression. 2) Anti-bullying strategies and practices to implement in schools.
