TEAM Facilitated Online Mentor Update
This facilitated conversation is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to engage in discussion to deepen their understanding and learn from their colleagues, while completing the on-line mentor update training. Participants will be able to: Explain the similarities and differences between the TEAM Planning Module and the Modules for Classroom Environment, Instruction, and Assessment; Recognize and use appropriate coaching questions to help beginning teachers think more deeply about their planning decisions, and the potential impact on students, prior to teaching; Compare beginning teachers’ words, actions, and products over time to help create an accurate picture of professional growth, as evidenced by the development of new learning improvements in teaching practice and outcomes for students; and Demonstrate how beginning teachers’ participation in TEAM can support their participation in the district evaluation process.
