Leading in the Age of NGSS: CREC Staff Only
CREC Principals, Assistant Principals, and District Leaders Only
Description
Gather with leadership colleagues from other schools to dive into the instructional changes that come with the shift to Next Generation Science Standards. The focus will be on the specific focus practices for the coming school year. Leaders will experience mini phenomena to see how these foundational experiences level the playing field for students for more equitable instructional opportunities, through for truly three-dimensional learning experiences. Principals will wear their student, teacher, and administrator hats throughout the session to explore the instructional practices and learning experiences related to the NGSS. This session is open to all school leaders, but will be geared for administrators and observers.
