Teachers will be immersed in the Choices Unit: Confronting Genocide Never Again and will examine parts of Competing Visions of Human Rights: Questions for U.S. Policy. Both curriculums are provided and teachers will discuss ways to adapt these programs for their classroom.
Goals (appears on the evaluation form):
Participants will experience lessons from these units, building confidence in how to teacher these topics in the classroom. Participants will learn ways to adapt the lessons to fit their district’s curriculum and their unique classroom needs.
