PTHV Overview - Families and Educators on the Same Team for Student Success
The research is clear—families are essential to student success. The PTHVprogram connects the expertise of the family about their children withthe classroom expertise of the teacher. This model has been proven toincrease student attendance and achievement, and decrease suspensionand expulsion rates. Most importantly, PTHV serves to build mutuallyrespectful relationships between families and school staff.Who should attend?A team representing teacher/s, school administrators, early educationprogram providers and/or support staff who plan to implement theprogram. *Important Note: The classroom teacher makes the visit.*
