Digital Citizenship: Act Now!
A proactive approach to digital citizenship is imperative; don't wait for a problem to arise. Join us for an engaging and informative day of learning, exploration, and collaboration. Participants will develop an awareness of digital citizenship policy and practice, and will be provided with tools and resources to assess the current status of their district implementation strategies and consider next steps. The day will also include an examination of best practices and real life examples of digital citizenship and its impact.

Things to know -

  • Make sure you have your photo ID when entering CREC facilities.
  • Workshop registration does not include breakfast or lunch. Please feel free to bring your own food and beverage or visit the CREC Central Café (111 Charter Oak Ave.) which offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options with daily specials.
  • Bring a refillable water bottle and/or beverage.
  • Bring a laptop or other electronic device (some workshops require only laptop) for note taking and access to online resources.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
  • Sometimes workshop room temperatures can vary so we suggest you dress in layers.
  • Please check the CREC website or your local TV station for any delay/closing information.
