Book Club - Deeper Discussions in Culturally Relevant Pedagogy (CRP): Bias...It's just more complicated than that!
Participants will participate in a four part series of book groups and include deep and focused analysis of topics connecting race to the understanding and application of Culturally Relevant Pedagogy.Participants will examine the role of bias within the broader context of systemic oppression in classrooms and schools. Required text (not included): "Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and the Brain" by Zaretta Hammond
