CCR and SchoolLinks: Structuring a Scope and Sequence - School Counselors will receive professional learning from School Links to review the platform, counselor access, and student use. Secondary Mathematics - Participants will either continue their work to prepare for the switch to standards based grading in the 2024-2025 school year or prepare for the launch of the new high school geometry and algebra 2 curriculum. Culturally Relevant and Responsive Practices - This session is designed for paraeducators to increase their understanding of culturally relevant practices and apply their learning the context of their role. In this five-session series, paraeducators will begin by grounding their work in a process of self-reflection and awareness of social identity. They will move deeper into understanding barriers such as bias and deficit thinking. Ultimately they will practice strategies for using inclusive language, empowering their student, and contributing to an inclusive and caring classroom. Objectives: a.. Participants will understand social identity and belonging. b. Participants will demonstrate self-reflection. c. Participants will identify elements of culture. d. Promoting Language Learning - Teachers will continue to explore AI tools, project based learning especially in the lower levels, and progress with SBG and rubrics. Understanding and Applying Evidence Based Practices in Math Intervention- Participants will explore evidence-based practices in intervention and examine how these practices can be implemented with the support of the Bridges Program, Objectives: Identify the 6 research based recommendations for effective math intervention Study 1 recommendation in depth, identifying why they suggest the strategy as well how they suggest implementing it.
